View Full Version : Screw Jay Feely

This piece of shit just missed three MAJOR field goals. All three were going to be Game Winning FG's if he made them. And he missed by so much. They could have beaten the Seahawks and become 8-3, tied for best record in the NFC.

One player screwed the whole team. Manning played well, Barber played amazing, Shockey and Burress both played great too. The defense was excellent. Feely killed the whole effort. Way to go, Jay.

we now have 3 threads about this game, I love it. What a choke-fest. The penalties should have cost NY the game in the first place/

Shockey doing a stupid dance into the camera, then suddenly stopping realizing his kicker sucks = Priceless.

I laughed so hard when he started dancing, then he saw everyone yelling and he just stared on to the field.

you can't blame a loss on one player. feeley contributed a lot to the loss but if the giants didn't have their heads up their asses with all those penalties feeley never would have been in that position.

It was a good game, but do you see how many fuck ups the Giants had to do in order for Seattle to win? They're not going too far. Once again, a NY football team gets fucked in the ass by it's own kicker.

Haha, it's one game, plus, NY came up huge when Seattle had essentially taken huge control of the game being up by 8. How many more teams does Seattle have to beat to get some respect? I know that Seattle waltzed away with this one, but a win is definitely a win, and 9-2 is still best in the NFC.

Yeah, towards the end of the 4th, I started losing hope. I don't mind Seattle, they're an alright team, I just can't stand Alexander. When he threw that bitch fit over the QB sneak deal that happend when he could have won the rushing yard lead. Anyway, it definately one of the better games to watch of this season.

Feely deserves a pass on the 54 yarder, because that's tough, but not the other two. Worst FG chokejob since Doug Brien.

It's so funny that everyone remembers that, because Shaun is seriously one of the nicest people in the entire world. He's never spoken up about anything, he's never complained about his contract, he's loyal to Seattle, he's an outspoken Christian who treats the media and his teammates with respect, but in a moment of frustration, he vented. I can see why you would remember that too, seeing as how you're from NYC and the rushing title was between him and Curtis Martin....(who I personally can't stand, heh)

Yeah, that's the only news non-stat related I've heard about Alexander. How can you hate Martin? haha

My sentiments exactly. I felt bad for him after the 45 yarder, though. What hurt the Giants were the penalties, like everyone is saying. Take back half of those and I have no idea who Jay Feely is.

because his yards/carry sucks or is subpar many times in his career (4 or less yards/carry SIX years in his career) yet he still gets tons of yards and accolades because the jets hand the ball off so often.

Me, I'm the Lonesome Kicker
Extra points, field goals at your service
One might think it comes with glory
You might think different after you listen to my story

My helmet is equipped with a tiny face mask
What it possibly could protect, I do not know
The other guys on the team
Like to make fun of my little shoulder pads
And also like to hide the special shoe
I need to kick in the snow

People think it's so easy
To kick a field goal from the 30 yard line
They forget to add seven yards for the snap
And 10 more 'cause the goal posts are pushed way back

In 1974, the uprights were right on the goal line
But some of the players were running into them
And getting hurt
So screw the kicker
Who cares about the kicker?

But I kick that ball
And I pray it goes straight
If it does
The coach says "Good job, number 8"
He doesn't even know my name is
Andre Kristacovitchlalinski, Jr.
But that's the life I live
The Lonesome Kicker

Kickoffs can be so very scary
Especially, if the returner breaks on through
And I'm the only guy on the playing field left to tackle him
I don't want to get hurt
So I pretend to tie my shoe

Once again, I'm ignored by my teammates and all my coaches
"Go back where you came from!"
Scream 70,000 fans
Well, I know I could win their love back
By catching a winning touch-down
But, unfortunately, I was born with these very small hands

And I hope that the cameras don't come in too close
'Cause they might see the tears in my eyes
As I sit on this bench made of cold-hearted wood
And the splinters go deep in my thighs
And the towel boy snickers as he walks by
The Lonesome Kicker

Another blocked kick
And everybody blames me
But it was the Left Guard
Who didn't pick up his man
Oh, why can't they see...

In my home country
I could have been a minor league soccer player
But I came to America
Seeking fortune and seeking fame
I didn't realize that if I shanked one
And blew the point spread
Some drunk guys would push me into their hibachi
After the game

So I go home at night
'Cause I never get invited
To go drinking with the other guys
And I sit in my chair, and I soak my foot
As I eat a plate of cold french fries
And my wife's out with her quote-unquote friend
And my son can't look me in the eyes
But that's the life I live
The Lonesome Kicker

Kicking for you
They took my snow shoe
They're going for two

Oh understandable, I thought you meant he was an asshole or something. Barber is easily understood around here to be the best runner of NY over Martin. And after Thursday's game, The Giants probably wish they didn't let Dayne go. Barber needs a rest once in a while.
