Is anyone watching this show?

I saw last nights episode, I thought it was alright. A little cliche with the detective's personal life story, but other than that I thought it was cute.

I would watch it again. However, if Nathon Filion wasn't in it, I probably wouldn't be as interested in it.

I tune in to watch Nathan Fillion. It's a solid show in its own right, I suppose. I think it has more potential than it is currently realizing, but I guess if it doesn't get picked up for a second season it'll never reach it. I think Bones may have the market on quirky crime shows cornered already.

Still, it puts Fillion on my screen, so I hope it sticks around.

Castle is honestly slowing becoming my favourite show. Stana Katic is super hot and Nathan Fillion is absolutely hilarious. As long as the show keeps its strong sense of humour and doesn't stray too far into the drama side of things, Castle will be going places.

I totally agree. At times I feel this role was almost written for the guy.

Did anyone else watch Firefly? And are uber-pissed how the show was cancelled without even finishing their proper first season?

Saw my first episode of this last week and really enjoyed it. I plan on buying the first season as soon as I can find it for a decent price and catch up.

Im sadly not watching any of the new episodes from season 2 because I don't want to watch them out of order, my dvr is recording them each week in hope they will reair some of the earlier episodes from season 2.

Anyone else watch the season finale, this past week? I really enjoy the show. Nathan Fillion, is perfect for the Castle role and who doesn't love Stana Katic? But the season finale, was a bit cliche towards the end.

I thought the case of the week was entertaining. The whole relationship drama is kind of obnoxious though so the finale was underwhelming. I would've rather seen another break in the case of Beckett's mom.

Yeah, I agree. The whole spy-game case was one of the better ones of the season, for me it was just shy of the two-part 'Nikki Heat' case. The whole relationship thing with Beckett and Castle started to seem forced in the finale. Did it really take Esposito to open Beckett's eyes about how she feels about Castle and how Castle feels about her? Stana's acting was superb, but the writing wasn't at its best during the finale.

In the first 2 seasons, we've only had like two or three episodes that involve her mother's case. Here's hoping that they don't drag it out too long and they start touching upon it more during the third season. Although, I think, for it to evolve more it will involve Beckett and Castle being together, for her to be more open about herself.
