One day a while ago, I was watching Oprah and this doctor came on talking about "poisonous people" and she practically described this girl I broke up recently as a poisonous person and her advice was this get the fuck away you cant help or change people who live off negative attention and lie about everything and leech themselves onto to anything that gives it attention or believes its lies.

I know this because this girl started doing coke and she practically lies about EVERYTHING. Only to absorb on drama.


Has anyone else come across something similar?

She never explained what I did, but from my assumption, that is just an example of negative attention. She was certainly not worth two months.

i know i'm the newest of the new here, but can i just say...get out while you can. seriously. i actually married and had a child to someone like this. i have only found out in the last 6 months (since we split) just how much he was lying about, basically our whole relationship was a sham. the really fucked thing is that he is a part of my life for good now (due to our son) and is continually screwing with my life. at least with friends and boy/girlfriends you can cease seeing them completely. and stay positive-it pisses them off!
