Colts dominating early. First colt play, 80 yard touchdown pass to Harrison. Steelers have had to punt twice so Roethlisberger is obviously the one to blame when they lose.

doesn't get much better than that

Polamalu with a pick, not a good pass by Manning. And a TD pass, by Roetlisberger. Hopefully this game will stay close throughout

for my viewing i hope the same, but i think the colts look better. that manning pick wasn't even a bad read really, it was an absolutely amazing speed turn by polamalu. i played safety in high school and they tell you not to break your hips down because you can't make that turn...well he did it flawlessly.

Troy Polamalu is going to be the big difference this game.
BTW I love Bob Sanders probably my favorite guy on Indy's defense. I hate Indy but I really love their defense

I hate both teams. I just want to see a good game, which it has been so far. The Colts have been the better team and the pick by Manning has allowed Pitt to be within a score. Manning has a short field to work withright now so Colts will probably put up some points here.

False, but you were probably joking, ha.
I'll say it again, no one will beat this team unless they sit their starters.

Cowher once again showed why he will never be able win a big game. Another terrible job by him tonight. Steelers all around didnt look good. They have another big game next week and will need to play much better to beat the Bengals.

Was there some boy with down syndrome in Indy that Cowher let coach the game tonight? That was horrific playcalling. The onside kick, the 4th and 4 QB draw play, the constant rushes for no gain on 1st and 2nd down so you can put your team in obvious passing situations on 3rd and long, meanwhile your o-line can't protect and your LT is a rookie on Dwight Freeney. It was a disgraceful performance.

Not a good game, but I still don't think the Colts will go undefeated.

They're going 13-0 for sure. San Diego is a challenge, but they have a pass D that Manning will just pick apart. It'll look similar to the Bengals game. San Diego will score, but they won't be able to stop Indy at home. As for Seattle, it all depends on what Dungy wants to do with the starters. They'll beat Arizona with back ups.

I was gonna comment on Roethlisberger not playing well tonight, but i realized that can directly blamed on Cowher. Ben never had a chance to succeed. Run first and second down, and then try to pass on 3rd down all game. The colts D new exactly what was coming.

Im not sure why Cowher felt the need to try a trick play. They were still in the game at that point and if they could stop Indy on their first drive in the second half, they had a chance to bring the game within a few points. That 4th down play was also very questionable.

Roethlisberger didn't play too well. He still made some nice plays (TD, scramble and long throw), but he was obviously rusty, and it was made worse by the Colts defense being all over him on obvious passing plays. I couldn't believe they kept running on first and 2nd down. Pathetic playcalling.

I guess he figured it worked 10 years ago in the Super Bowl. Terrible decision. Jeff Reed sucked too. How do you miss one from 41 in the dome? That was huge for momentum, and obviously the scoreboard. Then his onside kick didn't even go 8 yards, pathetic attempt never had a chance. It's as if Cowher didn't even prepare the team to play this game.

It was 4 actually, all makeable, in a 13-10 loss to the Ravens. That was one horrible kicker. He never blamed himself, but blamed Heinz Field. Granted it's the worst stadium to kick FG's in, but people still make them here.

Here's why the offense never did anything (besides getting stuffed on first and second down running the ball all night)
3-11-PIT39 (14:14) (Shotgun) B.Roethlisberger pass to H.Miller to PIT 45 for 6 yards (C.June, G.Brackett).
3-13-PIT25 (11:48) (Shotgun) B.Roethlisberger sacked at PIT 20 for -5 yards (M.Reagor).
3-2-PIT41 (4:17) (Shotgun) B.Roethlisberger pass incomplete to A.Randle El.
3-12-IND12 (1:18) (Shotgun) B.Roethlisberger pass to H.Ward for 12 yards, TOUCHDOWN. (wait, that's a good one)
3-6-IND20 (10:41) (Shotgun) B.Roethlisberger pass to A.Randle El to IND 23 for -3 yards (N.Harper).
3-7-PIT29 (3:52) (Shotgun) B.Roethlisberger pass to W.Parker to PIT 34 for 5 yards (G.Brackett, N.Harper).
3-7-IND37 (8:34) (Shotgun) B.Roethlisberger pass to H.Miller to IND 32 for 5 yards (J.David, M.Doss).
3-11-PIT19 (15:00) (Shotgun) B.Roethlisberger pass to C.Wilson to IND 46 for 35 yards (M.Doss). (great play)
3-17-IND39 (12:15) (Shotgun) B.Roethlisberger to IND 26 for 13 yards (R.Mathis, M.Jackson).
Dan Marino would struggle with that situation, let alone Ben.

Remember how Pittsburgh was going to run it all over the Colts tonight? Well the Steelers running game (excluding those plays where Ben had to run for his life) had 37 yards before they picked up 28 on that complete garbage time drive in the last 90 seconds. 37 freaking yards. Can we please stop praising their running game? It's been very inconsistent and many times terrible this year. The o-line was so much better last year.

Nope, Leftwich is out. Garrad might be serviceable, but it's not the same. Makes that game much easier for Indy.

I think Garrad can win it for them if the defense keeps them in the game and he makes 1-2 big plays but other than that it should be a win for the colts.
Week 16 I expect seattle to be exposed.

im late but i agree with all of this.
completely uninspired, unimaginative, tentative playcalling. this loss completely rests on bill cowher.
dwight freeney wasnt even playing on 1st down, he knew they werent going to pass. ever heard of play-action? god that frustrates the hell out of me, cuz this game was completely winnable.

yeah, the steelers made some bad calls, but let's not downplay the effort of the colts. they played a solid game, it wasn't like they handed the game to the steelers.
