His best contribution was to Queens of the Stone Age. Because he didnt really contribute much to Nirvana. It was all about Kurt

Foo Fighters, unquestionably.

I wouldn't necessarily say he contributed to Foo Fighters as much as he IS Foo Fighters.

He wrote every song and played every instrument on their first record. I know he lets Chris, Taylor and Nate contribute to Foo Fighters now, but he's still the primary songwriter.

I left out Foo Fighters because he pretty much IS Foo Fighters. And since he played drums on all the other recordings, I mad my decision off of his drumming and I picked QOTSA. Hands down, his best drum performance.

Definitely Foo Fighters. Grohl started that by himself and built it from the ground up. They are arguably as big as Nirvana was.

FF for sure, but his drumming in Nirvana influenced a lot of drummers. Dave Grhohl is one of the best musicians in this generation IMO

He wouldn't have gotten exposed to such a massive audience without Nirvana, therefore Nirvana can be the only choice.

Nirvana was great, but the Foo Fighters are going in such a great direction. (those are the only roles where I think dave grohl truly applies)

Anyone who vote "Who" or "He sucks" need to exit this site and music immediately.

Nirvana definitely gets my vote.

I thought Nirvana would be winning this for sure. I guess people are finally coming around and opening their ears.

Foo Fighters is Dave's baby, so I went with the not obvious choice of Nirvana. His drumming on Songs for the Deaf is unreal, though.

My argument for putting Nirvana is that he couldn't be where he is today if it wasn't for Kurt and Nirvana and he would probably say so himself. But, I will say that I think Dave is one of the last/only great rock and roll artist out there today, if you can say that rock and roll truly exists. He is underrated at best and while Foo Fighters may not get the legendary name as Nirvana, they are much more enduring. Foo is gonna be around for a long, long time.

see youre all fucking stupid for not picking nirvana. REALLY??? like do people really like the foo fighters more than nirvana? or are they not aware that dave grohl was once in the greatest band of the early 90s? what the hell is with these kids today....
