Ebay Shipping question

I just bought a Joe Strummer record from someone in the UK. However, when I go to pay using paypal, it asks me to enter in an amount to be added for shipping. On the item description it says £5.50 covers worldwide shipping. However, I wasn't sure if I'm supposed to enter that amount in the blank for shipping amount, or convert it to U.S. Dollars. Anyone have any experience in doing this that can help?

some person tried to scam my gf yesterday, sent her some fake letter saying they are from the ebay staff...thankfully she didnt fall for it
