I like 9 because I acutally beat the whole thing, and it was one of the first games I ever had with amazing atmosphere... something that is hard to find. 10 was fun, but I eventually gave up, same with 8, although 8 was really great as well. I still need to finish FF7 so I can actually claim to be a real video game player.

Final Fantasy 7 was my all time favorite, but I'm a little disappointed that you don't have an option for FF2. That had probably the best story of all.

tactics > 9 > 8 > tactics advance > 7 > 1 > 3 > X > X2 > CC

I liked 7 but my friend ruined it by beating it before I had it. I watched him play through it.

they tried something different for once. I was weirded out by the no overworld at first, but it actually proved to be nice...and got rid of excessive random encounters (which are so annoying in an overworld when you just need to get somewhere). Plus, the sphere grid was a really cool way of leveling, it gave you so much control...you could literally make your characters anything you wanted. I dug that.

8 because it is the first final fantasy I ever played...7 is a close second. a lot of people hate on 8 because of the junction system, but I have no probelms with it...it comes easier to me than equiping materia.

yes eight wasnt as good because of the junction system, but the main reason it wasnt as good was the fact that your enemies leveled up with you. it took part of the fun of spending hours leveling dudes up just to pound on your enemies.

i liked the story though.

i had the most fun with FF8... i dunno why, it just felt a lot more fun than the others. but 7 was awesome.

I didn't mind 9, but it was not as engaging as the earlier ones. They just were progressively less personal and just games after 8. 8 and before felt like an experience, something you that could have an effect on a person, as opposed to something to just waste time. That's why I do not like the more recent games.

It really was the best story. 8 is my favorite because of some odd connection I had to it, I hated it at first, but 6 is just brilliant. Locke is the greatest character in the history of video games. I really loved 4 also, that had such a tight knit group of characters to work with.

Tactics without a doubt in my mind. Next is 6(jp). All I know is in tactics I have a summoner, who's completely maxed, with full teleportation, and master math magic with all the important heavy spells. I beat the entire last dungeon and the 4 lowest levels of the secret dungeon with just him... so badass.

Final Fantasy VII, followed by Final Fantasy X. None of the other ones come nearly as close, though if I had to pick a third, I guess I'd go with VIII. Never bothered to finish it, though.

7 is sick. probably one, if not the best playstation (1) game ever. i was addicted for a good month until i got to the last boss at level 67. Didn't really feel like leveling to ever finish that game, but it was still amazing.

I hated that fucking snake on FFVII, I wasnt sure what I was doing so I fought him the first time and he fucked me up. Around disc 3 I decided to visit that fucker and ripped him a new one.

That dragon in the sea is no joke though.
the zolom is a bastard for sure.

the emerald and ruby weapons are so god damn impossible. around a million health each and they all have some special thing that makes them even harder. fuckers.

Yeah, they are too legit. The last time I played I tried to make that super Chocobo but it didnt turn out right and I got pissed... I just downloaded VI thought (3 US) and I've gotten into it again
