Nah I really really think it can be done, if correctly. The people who write/direct it would ahve to work with Iwata and Myiamoto. They would have also have had prior knowladge and have had to played the games multiple times to understand the stories. Then I think it could be done. If enough time and care is taken, it wcould be made.

besides, i think if they got peter jackson on board to do an epic zelda movie in the vein of the LOTR films, i think it could be more than quite good. i don't think it would be a good idea to do one based off the storyline of just one game though. would have to be a basic link find death mountain to rescue zelda, and pulling elements from the various games. also, i do think that they should put that fairy (navi i think?) from OoT in it too so link can rip her wings off and shove the master sword up her ass. christ she was annoying.

I dont remember where the list ended up. All I can remember is Kirsten Dunst was Zelda. Mickey Rourke was Ganendorf or maybe Daniel Day Lewis. I forget. Dominique Mohonogan was Link. And Louie anderson played multiple roles.

Anyways, this movie cannot possibly work because no matter what happens, his voice will be wrong and that alone will ruin it for a lot of people. The story would be great but the voice and whoever plays Link will piss a lot of people off no matter how good of a choice it is. I shudder to see Orlando Bloom in this role.
