that first cutback, I think i see the defender tear an ACL. He misses him by a foot or two at least, and he was on a dead line.
He gets a hell of a block around 2 minutes, the guy fucking levels the defender

Ehhh...the only reason i'd give a small chance to this is his size. And if people say look at Warrick Dunn, if he is only good as Warrick Dunn, then he is a bust.

Coming from a kid who played saftey at high school and college level I could never imagine having to play a kid like this. It is absolutely insane.

Ok USC could beat the Bills right now.
uhhhh, reggie bush is 6'0" 200 lb., hardly undersized for the kind of player he is and will be. he will not be a bust, he will be the best player in the nfl. dunn is three inches shorter and 20 pounds lighter. you guys are morons.

You sir do not know what the fuck you are talking about.
It is common knowledge that listed heights and weights are enhanced. For instance, in college I was listed as a 5'11" 205lb Saftey when in fact I was more around 6'1" 225lbs. Thats a 2 inch 20 lb difference. I'd guess that reggie is around 5'11 or 5'10" and is more around the 193-195 area. The average RB in the NFL is most likely 6'0" 5'11" and around 215-225 lbs. So he may be around target on height but he needs around 10-15 more lbs to be considered average size in the NFL. Even at 200lbs he could use an extra 10 to 15 lbs. So he is undersized you are wrong.
Also I never said he would be just like Warrick Dunn. But people who point out the fact that he is undersized may point to a player like Warrick Dunn. The same thing went on with Cadillac Williams which is why Ronnie Brown was picked before him. It was his size. That is one of the only knocks on Reggie Bush. I never said he was the same size as Dunn, but he is an example of an undersized NFL RB.
He will not be the best player in the NFL. That is just very wrong. He will be playing against players who are much faster, much larger, and much stronger. he said that the best defender he has played was the Saftey on Hawaii, so that tells you about the difference of defensive caliber players he will be facing. He will be a great RB, and it is hard to tell how good but the obvious assumption is he will be a gamebreaking type RB. He will not be Barry Sanders mark my words.
he's GOING TO BE the next Barry Sanders, it's going to happen, barry was not stronger, barry never had to go up the middle, just like bush won't have to, those players have the best agility i have ever seen.
dude, we get it, you played football in college, you don't have to mention it in every thread. yes, i know, heights and weights can be changed, and yes, PLAYERS BULK UP BEFORE GOING INTO THE PROS! but the same dudes who play in the nfl play college football, and it's hardly like usc has played a creampuff schedule this year.

Has Fresno State beaten anyone to be in the top 25 in the nation? no, they only lost to teams that are in the top 25 as they should be. If you take away LenDale White, Reggie would have one hell of a hard time getting yardage. White > Bush. I do, however, like Bush's ability to catch out of the backfield.
Arizona St. also played a pretty close game with USC. They (Arizona St.) were leading late into the 4th quarter.

oh man, that's the funniest thing i've read today. shit. glad i can back to that logic. whoo!
also, while determining who's third rate, i need to know how many rates we're dealing with, if there are 10 rates, then yes, fresno is a 3rd rate team, if we are deal with 3 rates, i'd argue they are a 1.5 rate team, as something like san jose st. would be 3rd rate.

oh lord, you are so done. you know nothing about college football. If you actually think that Lendell White is better than Bush, please never ever ever post on these forums again. Whether or not you think Bush will be successful in the NFL, don't come on here and tell me he's not the best player in College football, let alone USC. He very well might be the most athletic, fastest, dangerous threat to ever play the game - no exaggeration. Plus, he's a fantastic blocker. I think Reggie Bush is the best player in College Football, but the one thing no one can doubt is sometimes players just turn out to be busts. I don't think Reggie will, but there is that small .00001% chance it could happen. Ki-Jana Carter? This stuff just happens its a weird occurrence

No, but he did win the Heisman and was thought of as the best player in college football. Bottom line is that stuff happens. There have been tons of huge busts. There have been a lot of big time players who were seen as the next coming of so and so in the NFL and they turned into huge busts. I don't think Reggie well. He is super talented obviously and I think before the combine he's gonna work his ass of and get a little extra muscle he needs and I think he will be fantastic. But you just never know
i just hope that doesn't happen, i can't wait to watch him for the next 10 or so years

I never said White was better than Bush. You are right on thunder/lighting thing. I meant was you take white away he wouldn't run as well. Vice verca I also didn't say Bush wasn't the best player in college football. I said he won't make it in the league. Especially if he can't run threw the takles as someone said. Sure he's fast but there are people like... JP (Julius Peppers) among other players and linebackers who are as fast if not faster. He will have a tough time running to the outside all the time trust me. He won't be able to make all the plays as he does in college. If anything it would take him years to master the art of running back in the NFL. There's just such a gigantic difference.

Gino Torretta and Charlie Ward could be busts depending on how you look at it. Hell, depending on how you look at it there has only been 4 in the last 5 years (minus Matt Leinart) that have made it in the NFL. Either they have just sucked at picking the Heisman or it doesn't look good for Mr. Bush.

Bush is a far better talent than any of those players listed, including Desmond Howard. Charlie Ward played basketball instead, so it's hard to call him a bust in a sport he didn't even play professionally. You obviously haven't watched Bush in the past few games, otherwise you wouldn't say what you did about him running outside. He heard the critics, much like you did 3/4 weeks ago, and so just to show it to them (he said this) he ran up the middle much more frequently. He still busted huge gains, he still avoided tackles, and he had games of 290 and 260 yards rushing. Dominant no matter how he runs. Of course he's not going to put up those numbers in the NFL, but the dude is going to be an all-pro running back if he stays healthy. College ball is no contest for a guy like Bush, and he'll be very successful in the NFL against harder competition. You can't say he won't pull it off in the pros, because ALL dominant running backs in college football never pull it off in the pros like they did in college ball. you're not going to waltz into the NFL and average 7/8 yards a carry like Bush does, but he can certainly average 5. Your logic is flawed. Bush will be a hall of famer, end of story.

what doesn't look good for mr. bush? are you saying that the heisman winner automatically or "in most cases" is a bust in the nfl? i'm pretty sure an award doesn't decide whether you are good professionally or not. reggie bush has the agility to break/make people miss tackles. he's fast as hell. and if there is doubt at him getting it done at running back, he can also play wide receiver pretty damn well. i don't really know why people are hoping/expecting reggie bush to fail.

I would much rather him prove me wrong then to look like an idiot. He faced the 116th ranked defense last week. No doubt he is a great TALENT.... but talent can only get you so far. I never said Ward was a bust, I said depending on how you would have looked at it, some people could say he was
