totally going to one of these shows... mainly for protest, they are incredible.. Kezia is definately one of the best cd's that was released this year. I don't care for BNO's new cd much at all, but i will probably stick around to hear their old stuff.

If one more person on here posts that a band playing seven shows in Ontario is going on a "Canadian tour", I think I might go postal.
Also, getting from Toronto to Edmonton overnight will be fun to watch. Even via plane, that's a bit of a stretch in this time of year.

Yeah the BNO show on the 15th is an edge show which you have to win tix through the inside edge. Maybe they have another show later that night with the other bands and thus it is listed twice. Edge free shows are usually just one band. Also i think some of the shows listed conflict with other protest shows that have been announced.

Why do people like Protest the Hero? Honest question.I personally love them because of the awkward timing they have in their songs. It makes no sense whatsoever, yet somehow it makes me listen more and more and ahh, love it.

uhhh.. because every aspect on that album is just flooding with talent..
the drumming is incredible... the guitarists are flawless, even the bass stands out in most of the songs, the singer has a great voice and is a talented lyricist. Although this album is hard to get in to straight away (as with many techy sounding albums) once you're in to it you will appreciate how well it is crafted and written.

i hope you don't mean concerts/shows in general, because reletively big bands play at the L3 alll the time, pretty much any band doing a semi-detailed canadian tour plays there. Its not the first time playing the L3 for any of the bands on this tour.
EDIT : i also just noticed the title says these bands are "hitting" canada, even though they are all canadian bands... and all from the same general area (i believe, im not sure about protest, but its pretty close)

I though it was Bombs Over Providence instead of Protest the Hero? I guess they switched Underground Operations band?
Anyways, this is awesome.
Oh and the Ottawa Senators do kick ass! and I still don't get how people always end up misspelling Ottawa, its the fucking capital.
