I am surprised ADIBAW got this much attention for such a sub-par album. Their strongest bit of talent was displayed with their first full-length, "My Heroes Have Always Killed Cowboys." I consider that album to be one of the most influential combinations of post-rock instrumentalism with climactic build-ups to "screamo" (by old-school definition...NOT hawthorne heights "screamo") passages, and then back again. They deserve this attention now, but I would have much rather seen them get attention for their first album rather than this complete reversal of sound that lacks the uniqueness they possessed before. I suggest everyone who likes Level Plane Records...especially those who are fans of bands like City of Caterpillar or Saetia...to check out "My Heroes Have Always..." before you listen to the less than mediocre effort "Notes" which is highlighted here by Spin.
