i know i whine about this just about everytime...but im still not sure why i even look at the dates...i know indianapolis isnt gonna be on there...its like trying out for a sports team.. u walk up to the posted team roster after the tryouts and hold your breath hoping to see your name on there. you read it once, twice, maybe even three times just to make sure you didnt miss it....then you walk away disappointed.

this is true...although it is a really sucky reason for not touring through here. but promoters see it that way and realize they will most likely break even at best if they come here

i'm not justifying it, but you have to realize that it's better for mileage and tour routes to skip it, going from milwaukee to chicago to grand rapids or detroit, or coming from west to chicago instead of through indiana.

yea i know why they do it...thats why i never hold my breath for a tour to come here. it also makes for an even better expierence when they actually do come here. i mean we get good shows so im not complaining too much. but we dont get even close to half the stuff that like chicago for instance gets...thats why i go to more shows in chicago than here.

I've absolutely given up on Indy dates. They just don't happen. I don't blame any band for not coming through here though, unless you're hardcore. It's not worthwhile, nobody comes out to the show, and those that do aren't really there for the show, they are there to be "scene". So I just look for the Chicago or Cincy dates nowadays. I am definitely excited about this tour though, just have to find someone to take the 3 1/2 hour drive with me.

thats exactly my point. i dont blame the bands...although when kris roe announced that him and john would be doing a few acoustic shows...i was a little bummed when there was no indianapolis date, seeing as how its hometown and all (well anderson but u got my drift) but they have since added some indy dates so its all good. but really i never blame a band, and i never get pissed off that they dont come here cuz i know exactly why they dont.

i NEVER go to a show to be scene and i go to just about every show that comes through indy so stating "those that do aren't really there for the show" kinda of pisses me off cuz its never been about who is who to me...its always about the opportunity to see the bands that i love and here the music i love live...

i go to a lot of shows in chicago and cincy as well for the fact that i know a tour i want to see will without a doubt hit one of those two cities.

i was there too. i really enjoyed the show. i hadnt heard classic case...well let me take that back. i had heard them before but hadnt put two and two together that i knew them until we bought the cd last night and i saw the art work on it....but i thought they were amazing. good stuff right there. emery always puts on a good show. last night was also the first time i had seen from autumn to ashes live and i think they did really well.

i didnt think it sounded bad at all. that whole sound is nothing ive ever been interested in. but for some reason from autumn to ashes appeal to me so much. its really crazy. i mean i just mean the extreme growling/screaming that type of thing. emery is even more than i like to listen to. but those two bands just stand out to me more than other bands that sound that way.

The Living Room is an awesome place, even though most hate it due to being pretty freaking dirty. I think I'm going to hit up the first and last dates on the tour (or whatever date the Axis is), because I love this tour that much. :)
