Say Hi To Your Mom (http://www.sayhitoyourmom.com) are looking to add a male or female to the band who will ideally play the guitar or keyboard or bass or all of the above. You must live in the New York City area, be above the age of 25 and available to accompany the band on tour for weeks at a time. 1) You need to be listening to this band. I have been non-stop lately. 2) Read below for further details.

"While we do truly appreciate all the responses we've received about our vacant positions, perhaps you'd like to revisit our very handy FAQ section (at the band's official website) before you write us to say that you are 21 and living in California but that you really really want the job, especially the part about how, contrary to the common myth, there is no money in indie rock. If you've reviewed this and you still write us asking for us to fly you to New York, implying that we will take care of all your financial woes forever, then, well, you're probably not the right boy or girl for the job.

As we've mentioned in the past, we're really nicer in person than it seems when you read stuff like this. In fact, we're just normal, nerdy people who like to make rock records and play rock at rock shows. All of the above said, if you'd like to be part of this circus, please send us links to pictures of yourself (preferable on stage) and music you've played on: applicants@sayhitoyourmom.com.

If not, perhaps you'd like to forward this to someone who does.

Peachy,
Say Hi To Your Mom

Agreed. They actually played a show in my hometown in MT and it was amazing. They didn't get the crowd that they should have, but they still rocked and were really cool to talk to afterward. I hope they find someone.
