Thought i'd make these guys an official thread. I'm pretty stoked about the new album, i've really liked both of their releases thus far.

I liked the EP, but the full length was a major disappointment for me. The change in vocals just didn't do it for me I guess... hopefully the new CD is an improvement.

I wish the albums came out sooner so I could pick them both up when on May 8th when I see them! I live in a small town and I dont get many opportunities to buy these kinds of cds.

That's always a turn off for me. A lot of newer bands are starting to sound like Saosin, its weird.

Why is that funny? The members of A Skylit Drive and other scene bands are around 20 and I'm sure they enjoy playing and listening to their music.
This band is awful. I have nothing against scenewhatevercore as a genre, but everything about this band is so cliché it's almost funny.

I'm torn between two different opinions about this band. I feel like they are a pretty decent band that I might enjoy while the other part of me is screaming that there is justification for the term "scene-core".

No. They aren't. Craig has the most genenric and boring voice, and I'm from Phoenix (so in general I would be inclined to like him).

Yeah, it was posted on the front page a few days ago. It's pretty short and only with the two guitarists. They talked about the new record, pretty interesting.

I only heard a low quality version of the other new one but from what I heard I wasn't too excited.
And why the heck hasn't this leaked yet? Dance Gavin Dance is dropping them same day and it leaked a while ago.
It has to leak so I can tell if I want to spend money on it or not.

Yeah really, I've seen people claiming to have heard the whole CD but after searching like crazy its nowhere to be found
Really excited for this though, especially after finally getting to see them and DGD on their most recent tour, June 9th is gonna be pretty sweet
musically I feel like their getting less heavy with each release, which isn't necessarily a good or bad thing because I don't think the quality of the music has dropped at all

Adelphia is disappointing in my opinion. It's not as catchy, not as intense and concentrates too much of jags vocals. I also dont like the use of the synth/keys in some tracks. And it seemed so promising after hearing 'Eva the carrier', which is the strongest track on the disc. The only other track i really enjoy is 'Prelude to a dream'
Wires... and the concept of breathing and She watched the sky are so much better

After hearning Aldephia Im knocking them off the want to see list at warped. Im not liking it at all.

wires was good but really generic the vocals made it for me
adelphia was really different but i thought it was just as good in its own right because they changed the vocals a bit, and tried experimenting with the music more than on wires

Yeah i agree, the Ep is the best but i really like wires... too. Adelphia is definitely my most dissapointing album of 09 thus far
