It's close. He has the highest SB% since 1951. 2600 hits. 808SB. Played 23 seasons which is impressive. .294 career avg. is solid.. I think he'll get in...eventually.

actually, after looking at lou brock and tim raines' numbers next to each other, i'd say yes

Agreed with you there. I think Tim Raines was good, a great base stealer, but I don't think he is a hall of famer.

we had this discussion when the last class was elected in. tim raines ABSOLUTELY deserves to be in, given the quality of some other players that are in. whether the current standards to get into the HoF are too low, is a different argument.

Yes. Raines is one of the most underrated players of all time.
