Considering the two bands are best friends it's not weird at all. If you're from Canada you know about the ongoing relationship between the two.
Blame Canada.
or thank us.... because moneen is probably one of the best shows you will ever see in your lifetime... ok.. maybe that was a touch exxagerated... but they whip live, and this split is the coolest thing since indoor reccess

i'll be honest with you man. Indoor reccess was always the lamest thing ever.
The split is ok... the moneen covers are.... not that great (note to moneen, lets not do anymore screaming k? thanks.) but their actual song is pretty good, and the alexisonfire songs are good. i still like the stuff on their first cd better

you live in California.
we would cherish every chance we had to be warm.
christ... you dont know what its like to travel 1 hour by sleigh pulled by dogs to school, then have to wait out in the cold for 20 minutes before school started..
fuck.. then to top it off.. we would build igloos to keep warm, but do you think they kept us warm.. fuck no.. they;re made of ice and snow.
so dont tell me indoor reccess was lame... indoor reccess is the reason all my limbs are still attatched.;)

Hmm I don't know about this EP. The Moneen versions seem to lack the intensity that the Alexis versions have, that said Sharks in Danger is done very well. And then Alexis's versions just don't seem to click with me.

yeah best part is, its call the Switcheroo Series.. meaning they will have more of these. I'm guessing it won't always be Alexis and Moneen, but chances are it will be awesome bands, hopefully canadians. I would love to see some Boys Night Out or something.

Man, I just got into Alexisonfire.. I blew off Watch Out! cuz of the crappy artwork and friends' reviews.. but it's really good. I love Dallas' voice.

recorded, Moneen has a lot less energy/intensity than AOF does. live is another story. but trust me, they're awesome. just kinda chill on tape.
and i say this in every thread but, mmmmm. Canadians.

I don't know about you man, but I live in a house and I have a car hahaha
But indoor recess was pretty sweet in the winter, I remember one year in elementary school I joined the stamp club just so I wouldn't have to go outside hahaha fuck!

I think this is pretty solid as long as you take it for what it is; a short little for-fun thing.

Indoor recess was awesome in the cold...I hated waiting for the bell to ring while we froze our nuts off.
