I just spoke with Dan from The Fold and he's informed me that Allister and themselves have both crashed their vans in Milwaukee. Both vans hit black ice. Thankfully, there are no serious injuries. More details tomorrow.

black ice is scary shit. i've had some bad experiences with it in my time. glad to hear everyone is okay though.

It's not easy driving in winter conditions. I live in Milwaukee and today on the interstate there were over 10 cars in ditches. Plus numerous just on the sides in their own fender benders.

That ice can come out of nowhere!

Plus when you are driving around in 12-15 pass. vans pulling a trailer, that just makes it that much harder.

I wish safe travels for The Fold and Allister for the rest of the dates.

seems like a couple bands are crashing due to black ice (e.g. Greeley Estates, I think A Change Of Pace (well they canceled their Canadian shows.))

outside of philly, i know 1" isn't that bad compared to a lot of places, but the first snowfall of the year usually has many more crashes then usual

fuck that shit. they played in milwaukee on friday, and nobody ever stays in milwaukee after a show. therefore, the accident didn't happen in milwaukee.

I spun out of control on ice the other day. Almost nailed a car. You simply can't see some of that shit.

outside of philly, i know 1" isn't that bad compared to a lot of places, but the first snowfall of the year usually has many more crashes then usual

yeah, especially if it's borderline freezing/ice. i haven't seen any accidents yet within the first few snowfalls we've had. and i have to take the freeway/highway and some city to get to both school/work. i like michigan.
