Let the first Goodbye (and good fucking riddance!) go to Buffalo Bills General Manager Tom Donahoe.
Fuck you, you clown, you drove this team even further into the ground than the late John Butler did before he left for San Diego. Blame the coaches or the players for your lack of success as GM, but just remember one thing: YOU hired each and every one of them. YOU drafted the bust of the century, Mike Williams, at #5. YOU traded for Drew Bledsoe. YOU signed a sub-par LT, LG and C to free agent contracts. YOU hired Gregg Williams as head coach. It is all your fault, and now our great owner, who put so much trust in you, Mr. Ralph Wilson Jr., at 87 years old, has finally realized he misplaced his trust. You are as incompetent as a GM as Matt Millen is in Detroit. SO GET THE FUCK OUT of our city, and don't ever come back.
Love,
The Buffalo Bills Fans.

Sherman has to be fired too. He picked the players and coached them to their 2-10 record.

Brett Favre is having a pathetic year though. I guess Sherman could go, make Bates the HC.

Tim Lewis had a good year as the DC for the Steelers, then the next season they were completely chewed up almost every week, and his ass was gone soon after.

It's not all Favre's fault, he has no one around him, all his good offensive players are hurt.

From what I hear today, he threw some absolutely horrible picks, just because someone was "about" to sack him. He's lost it. The injured players hurt, but a HOFer still should be playing better than this.

That could be true (I didn't see the game), but from what I've seen this year, a lot of his picks have been from receivers tipping them up in the air or inexperienced receivers not running the right routes.

I just saw his pick 6 to Vasher on ESPN a few seconds ago, pitiful throw. That's all on Favre. I hear he had a real bad one while near the goal line, and the Bears took it back almost the whole damn field. 10 points out of 19 came from Favre INTs.

Yeah, so today's picks we can blame on Favre, but a lot of them are because of his receivers.

Marino was still one of the best QBs in the league at the time of his retirement

Marino one of the best in 98-99? Ehh, not sure about that one. He finally had a good defense then.
Elway - retired on top
Montana - one last 4th QT comeback in the playoffs
Marino - one last playoff comeback, then a complete disgrace to Jacksonville, 62-7
Young - too many concussions
Favre - this pathetic turnover filled season? That's bad
dan marino's last season, 12 tds, 17 ints, 67.4 qb ranking 55.3% completion percentage, that sure was up with the best

Marino had absolutely nothing around him in his last few years. He still threw for 3500 yards in his last few full seasons. And in his last, he only started 11 games. That playoff game was a disgrace though. Jay Fielder came in and threw for a TD or 2 at the end for Jax.

Marino last made the Pro Bowl in 1995.
Then in 96-99, he threw for 20+ TDs 1 time and he threw for 3500+ yards 1 time.
and he started all his games 3 of those 4 years

Aikman went out a trooper... too many concussions forced him out before he could overstay his welcome
