Yep, thats my theory with Texas, so when Kansas loses to them, they are losing to the # 1 team in the nation. Not such a bad loss when you look at it that way.

I don't think people understand how it works in college...only conference games are significant, and when you're in one of the top conferences in the nation, the more wins your conference opponents have, the better it is for your team. You play the same teams regardless, so it really doesn't matter what they do outside of the conference.

yeah, thats why i hated the Big 12 last year, it wasn't consistently deep. Likewise this year, its 2 teams off in the lead, and the rest just trying to make the tourney.
