When I first saw Something Corporate a long time ago, I thought Andrew was a complete dochebag. However, I've seen them since, and I've seen Jack's Mannequin, and I completely reversed my oppinion of him. He's definitely one of the nicest guys, and most hardworking guys. I love him.

I don't know what you guys think about the genre of emo, and the topic of most emo songs and how it is usually related to love and what-not, but to me, Jack's Mannequin and Andrew McMahon have brought the genre of emo to a different level. I feel like I am able to connect to his music in such an empathetic way that it actually makes me feel like the experience was my own. Andrew McMahon is on the forefront of something completely different, that only a life experience like his could create. His music is, and will be, lyrically, probably something few, if anyone at all could ever write because of this. His battle and SURVIVAL of cancer is such motivation to so many out there, whether it means people who have cancer, or family members, or even those suffering of other things. He is proof to me that life is worth living.

Andrew McMahon, you are amazing.

i read something somewhere that said because of andrew condition and the fact he wants to work some on jack's now that he is getting better soco is on an indefinate hiatus....

AP magazine said that about the indefinite hiatus for SoCo. I am so glad to see he is doing better and doing what he loves by playing music. I can wait for new SoCo....the JM album has more than done its part to ease the wait.

that's really cool that you raised so much money. i was truly impressed by all the various projects fans came up with to support andrew. part of me wished i could've contributed to them all, but i saw the ap.net bracelets first.
