I've had pretty lame writer's block lately since I've moved to vegas, but I wrote this inspired by chuck p's book lullaby.
a culling song
you don't have to see what I have saw.
i won't let the world rob you of your fragile love.
like it did to me, many moons ago.
so just dream now, just let go.
listen carefully to my lullaby
and my dear you won't ever wake up to this lie.
I see the sky in your eyes
and they're begging mine
to send you way up high.
you don't put up a fight.
i did the culling song just right.
and as you lie there, i'll cry all night.
a culling song
you don't have to see what I have saw.
i won't let the world rob you of your fragile love.
like it did to me, many moons ago.
so just dream now, just let go.
listen carefully to my lullaby
and my dear you won't ever wake up to this lie.
I see the sky in your eyes
and they're begging mine
to send you way up high.
you don't put up a fight.
i did the culling song just right.
and as you lie there, i'll cry all night.
