According to this article (http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1517406/20051205/chappelle_dave_1_.jhtml?headlines=t rue), Comedy Central is planning to air the Chappelle Show's unseen episodes sometime in 2006.

Now for the optimist in me: THANK GOD! Charlie Murphy has said in interviews that this was the funniest stuff Dave has ever done so i hope that it is all true and that we all get to wet ourselves laughing at this.

I cant wait. I still have hope that one day, like maybe in a year or so he'll continue doing the show. It was probably my fav. show ever.

you know, i was at the last laugh '05 taping last night and they showed clips and half a segment from the 'new third season' of chappelle. and they made it seem like he was back for good. their tagline was even "Season Three. We Mean it This Time." everyone was going crazzzy in the audience, it was great.

i think that's just referring to the fact that season 3 had at least 2 previous start dates. they scheduled it to start in the spring or whenever, and then when dave went on his retreat, they had to push it back to the summer. and then when they weren't sure whether he was coming back to the show, it was postponed indefinitely.

anyway, it'll be nice to see these sketches, even though the show was always hit and miss.
