There is nothing clever or cool about a 34 year old guy singing angtsy songs like these.
The lyrics are fine in places, and the mucic is competent, but overall this band has no purpose in music, and would not get near a major label, had it not been for Blink 182.
Say what you want about Tom DeLonge and Angels and Airwaves, but they are bold, ambitious. Their music is strongly divisive, but draws a big response at least.
+44's album has come and gone, and the only reaction was a quietening down of Mark fans on Internet forums. |
i disagree. i think that the album is actually pretty creative, as opposed to ava. now, i will admit, +44 couldve probably worked on it a little longer, but i think ava is the less creative of the 2. ava is just basically u2 with some of blinks guitar riffs toned down to a more alternative sound. listen to anthem part 2 and everything's magic and youll see what i mean.also, their songs really arent that much different.and we all know that tom is just terrible live now.as much as try to see the good in this band, it gets pretty hard |

Offline | | i love +44. but i'm not gonna compare them to A&A or blink, coz that must be all they hear, and to be still doing well and making decent music with that to live up to i think is a pretty good achievment. |
