Offline | | Who cares if jesses vocals were double tracked does it really matter, his sound is still what misery signals was formed around and to me at least always be the best including all my friends he just had a style that the new singer cant capture and didnt sound like every other hardcore band out there, dont get me wrong i like the new singer to but not as much as jesse. |

Offline | | who cares about who is better than the other. the real fact is that the new cd is absolutely beautiful, and that adjective is quite uncommon in the hardcore genre. |

Offline | | At first i hated Jesse's vocals, i grew to love them, i was bummed to see him leave but i am so stoked on the new singer. He fucking rules. Sure jesse was good but karl adds such a sense of emotion. Seeing Misery Signals with the new singer was super invigorating. I loved it. I definatly like the new singer more. Also, the members of Misery Signals obviously loved him because they chose to play with him. I relaly dont think they care if you like the new singer, because they are going to write amazing music with an amazing new singer regardless of how many people like it. those are my thoughts. |

Offline | | you all should be paying attention to the music instead. one of the best guitarist-drummer matches in the business. |

Offline | Ive seen misery signals with both Karl and Jesse live.
Misery Signals with Jesse was amazing but the live show wasnt that impressive.
I saw them a few weeks ago on their tour with the gorgeous and i was blown away.
Theres nothing like seeing a favorite band in a small club with a hudred people if even that much.
The new songs arent really the same as before but can they really be expected to record the same songs again and again?
I can still listen to it and immediately hear misery signals and prefer them with Karl than them not existing at all.
And to be perfectly honest... Jesse was a jackass. |

Offline | | this shit is amazing. why is everyone so focused on the vocals? number one, as someone said earlier, jesse's voice was double tracked a lot of the time, and matt mixon even would add in his vocals along side jesse's to make it even more abrasive. besides, the production of "of malice" is picture perfect. the meat of this band comes from the actual musicians. the guitars are about 3 steps above any other hardcore band today and they still have the same incredible emotion packed into these songs that they ever had, along with the drumming that is just as good if not better than before. and i think karl has a great voice. he is especially good live. |

Offline | It just isn't the same. Not that I mean that I was looking for a repeat of their last CD. I just thought that Jesse's vocals were awesome. Now it just sounds like another toughguy band. |
