With two members still in high school, the band Haydenfield is ready to make their mark on the music scene. Even though the band is still young (oldest member 19), Haydenfield is ready to show the world their music.
Haydenfield was formed during February 2004 in Parsippany, New Jersey, under the name Midnight Grey. Midnight Grey consisted of members Daniel Hubner (Vocals/Guitar), Chris Kalwa (Bass/Vocals), Ryan Fleming (Guitar), and Jason Kalwa (Drums). After their formation, the band recorded five songs with Tom Suhey (Drummer of the band Stafford). Once the recording was complete the band named the CD “Too Many Times Before” and began to self-press CDs. With a finished copy in hand, Midnight Grey began playing shows.
During the winter of 2005 the band started writing again. The music that they were writing showed their progress as a band. The band then recorded the demo that they later titled “All I Can Do…” with Tom Suhey at Portrait Recording Studio in Lincoln Park, New Jersey.
After playing together for a year, Midnight Grey began writing songs once again. The band realized that the new songs were a large improvement in comparison to their songs from “Too Many Times Before”. Because of this change the band wanted a fresh start.
In June of 2005 Midnight Grey decided to change their name to Haydenfield. The band began looking for the right place to record their new songs and ended up recording with Paul Spinella in October 2005. The five song CD was later pressed and released in January 2006. With a new CD in hand that expresses there teenage years, the band is ready to start touring the United States.
