Roughly two years since releasing their debut EP, Tiger! Tiger! is back with what is undisputedly their best work yet. After recording demos with long time producer/friend Mark Michalik (The Swellers, Your Best Friend, Empty Orchestra) the band took these new songs and approached Thomas Dutton of the band Forgive Durden (Fueled by Ramen) about producing their debut full length album. Liking what he had heard, Dutton hopped on board with the project.
After spending much of last summer writing and reworking material, the band made the long trek from the mitten state to Seattle, Washington to meet up with Dutton. With the album being overseen by Casey Bates (known for his work with Chiodos, The Fall of Troy, This Providence & many others) the band spent two weeks in the studio crafting all of the material they came into the studio with into 11 dynamic songs that would become their debut full length album: Itíll Still Be There When Youíre Ready For It. Clocking in just under 40 minutes, the album is crafted to be digested as 1 piece of work instead of 11 individual songs. It also features guest vocal appearances from both Nic Newsham (Gatsbys American Dream) and producer Thomas Dutton.
Itíll Still Be There When Youíre Ready For It takes a look at life through both the good and the bad times that everyone goes through and evaluates what it truly means to be alive. While vocalist Scott Nelson gets personal on select songs throughout the album, he reiterates one point throughout the whole thing: I know that thereís a feeling deep inside you (that) youíve been hiding, and though it feels like youíre the only one youíre not alone.
ISBTWYRFI was released digitally on April 16, 2010. It is available on iTunes, Rhapsody and Bandcamp. The band also sells digital download cards at their live performance. A physical release is planned for late summer/early fall when the band plans to hit the road full time.
