Hailing from Central Illinois, Midnight Fall is an Indie/Pop/Rock group that many have come to know and love. The groups members include Brandon Carnes (lead vocals/bass), Robert Murphy (guitar/vocals), Rik Austin (guitar, vocals), and Chris Florence (drums). Since coming on to the scene in the summer of 2004 they have been wowing crowds with their intense live show. They have shared the stage with acts such as Park, The Junior Varsity, Down to Earth Approach, Slingshot 57, Murder by death, so many dynamos, Greenwood, Planes Mistaken for Stars, June, As Tall As Lions, Hidden in Plain View, and Houston Calls. Also, they have cracked the top ten on the unsigned bands list on purevolume.com (all genres in the entire USA), and landed the number three spot for bands in IL on myspace.com (including signed bands). They have played venues of all sizes from the local Breadstrechers to a sell out show with Park and Hit The Lights at the K of C hall in Arlington Heights. They have played various venues throughout the Midwest, including shows in WI, IN, and MO, traveling as far as Tempe, Arizona, where they recorded an EP for FingerTipKiss Records that was never released due to personal conflicts with the label's owner Scot Bohn. In September, 2005 Midnight Fall officially released their self-titled debut EP (recorded and produced in part by Rich Williams at autopilot records). The Five song EP which includes "Football is for people with eyes", "The Windy City Blew Away One Fourth of Me", "Get down, Get Fresh", "boys", and "All the things I'd like to say" gets to the point, clocking in at under 18 minutes. This summer Midnight Fall will be recording at Black Lodge Studio. They will release a new E.p. on which Asa Dawson (The Junior Varsity) and Ladd Mitchel (PARK) will be appearing.Through member changes and financial/label set backs, Midnight Fall has pressed on and will continue till their dreams come true completely and not a moment sooner.
