Cheap Girls recorded their sophomore album earlier this year with Rick Johnson (of Bomb The Music Industry), who manned the boards for the trio’s acclaimed debut, Find Me A Drink Home. My Roaring 20’s finds Cheap Girls building on their jangly, 90’s indie-rock a-la Evan Dando sound, which ABSOLUTEPUNK says is “a breath of fresh air and a welcome listen to those who loved the raw and sloppy tendencies of 90’s indie and alternative.” Paper + Plastick recently re-issued the band’s out-of-print debut in July on limited edition 12” white vinyl and blue and white swirled vinyl, while the new release will be a 12” vinyl and includes a CD version of the album.
