The Bell and The Hammer

Preorder

This Day & Age is a Buffalo, NY-based band whose music focuses on complimenting melodies with memorable guitar lines, well-placed piano and a rhythm section that ties it all together. Each song tackles relevant topics and is a well-crafted, sincere story that envelopes the listener. The band's live show has become famous for being spotless and energetic.

After touring for 18 months in support of their debut, "…Always Leave the Ground", TDA is poised to further increase their national fan base and to make a lasting mark on today's rock music scene with their new release, "The Bell & The Hammer". For fans of Death Cab for Cutie, Coldplay, Radiohead, and Copeland.

i liked their old cd better, not a huge fan of the slow songs. i like slideshow, i remember me, seven-eighty. but these are still good for what they are. i hope they have some more upbeat songs on the album though

Umm yeah. This Day And Age is out of control good. I ended up "borrowing" the promo copy of their last album and was insanely impressed. As a result, I went to see them on the Rocket Summer tour last Fall and was damn sure to see them at this year's Bamboozle. Overall, these guys rule at both music and just being good peoples. Look forward to this next album, and to the person who said they matured, I totally agree. The music is fuller and just rad.

i love this band and these guys. i fell in love with them the first time i heard them live at a show my band played with them.

the guitarist of my band and i had a great conversation with the singer and the rest of the guys about some older bands like sunny day real estate while punchline played, and he introduced us to godspeed you! black emperor.

i'm loving these new songs a lot too, awesome.

I agree. I was going to say something about that "punker" but I thought about it and he probably listens to junk music anyway.. There is sooo much detail in these songs! These guys are great. I like music that doesn't leave you feeling like you've been cheated. They are so full sounding.
