The Steal

The Steal formed in mid October 2006 with one thing in mind, have fun doing something we love-playing fast positive hardcore like the bands we grew up listening to. Never really thinking it was going to go anywhere, at our second practice we decided to do a rough recording of the song "World Wide World" that we had just written. After posting this online and getting a really good reaction from our peers it pushed us forward and a few months of frantic practicing and writting ensued. Our friends arranged our first gig supporting Capdown where we blasted out 10 songs to people that had never heard of us. It was so much fun we decided to play as much as possible and since then have played a lot of shows, recorded an album in 2 days in our living room and made a whole bunch of friends. We are truely doing something that we really feel passionate about and enjoy, we hope that comes across when we play.
