Swag. Always.
I love Gambino. His lyrics are so witty.
I should really say that I love everything Donald Glover has anything to do with. He's smart, well rounded and hysterical!
It's nice to have a rap artist that doesn't just talk about how tough life was growing up or how many times he's gotten shot at.
I think a lot of the reason he is so fantastic is the fact that he does this for fun. He doesn't need to rap to survive. Donald is already an established comedian and actor and this is just a passion of his.
He puts everything he's got into all of his performances and you can tell he's having a great time.
Camp is fantastic and I really like that he sent out "merit badges" solely to local music stores.
I hope that his success continues and he ends up playing sold out shows in big arenas, so I can proudly say that I saw Childish Gambino before Camp was even released for only $25 at a show that managed to be sold out while Jay-Z and Kanye's Watch The Throne was in town.
Considering I'm the type of person that spends her days listening mostly to pop-punk and alt. rock, I've never been able to say I have a favorite rapper before I stumbled Childish Gambino last year and I couldnt be happier. I only wish that I had found him sooner!

I was recently reading D.H. Lawrence for my 20th Century Brit Lit class, and I came upon this quote:
"I don't want to grow in any one direction any more. And, if I can help it, I don't want to stimulate anybody else into some particular direction. A particular direction ends in a cul-de-sac."
Pretty interesting in relation to Donald's career.
