The Billboard The Maccabees are an indie 5 piece from London, England consisting of Orlando Weeks (Vocals, Guitar), Felix White (Guitar, Vocals), Hugo White (Guitar, Vocals), Rupert Jarvis (Bass) and Sam Doyle (Drums).
The band formed in 2004 and have release two studio albums. The debut, Colour It In was released in 2007 and included the singles, "First Love", "X-Ray", "Precious Time", "About Your Dress", "Latchmere" and "Toothpaste Kisses". During this time they toured the USA with Bloc Party and completed a UK headlining tour.
In 2009 the band released their highly acclaimed second album, Wall Of Arms and completed several headlining UK tours and festival shows all around Europe. They released the singles "No Kind Words", "Love You Better" and "Can You Give It" from the album. They were also the headliners for the NME Awards Tour which also saw the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, The Big Pink and The Drums on the bill.
The band are currently playing a few festivals before heading back to the studio to start recording their third album.
