Catching Thieves formed in early 2005 with a mission. Since then, they’ve released a modest EP, played numerous local shows, went on tour in the daunting heat of last summer and ate a lot of fast food; gaining many fans, friends (and enemies) along the way.
With their new full length CD coming this year, the five members of Catching Thieves are working feverishly to get their music heard. The Enemy was produced and recorded by wiz kid Paul Leavitt (All Time Low, Fair Verona, Senses Fail) in September 2006 at Valencia Recordings.
Chronicles of exile, domesticity, and mundane day jobs - along with a newly recorded, revamped version of the fan favorite “Did you enjoy yourself,” make The Enemy a strapping record that is easy for anyone to revel in.
Catching Thieves is a rock band. No gimmicks. If you’re looking for new music that’s bringing soul to an ailing genre, please listen.
