Kyoto Drive

Style: Kyoto Drive is a mash-up of old fashioned pop-punk and new wave progressive pop that makes for a familiar yet forgotten combination of styles reminiscent of Drive Thru circa 2005.

Bio: Kyoto Drive formed out of the ashes of two Birmingham hardcore rock bands, when the two acts disbanded the remaining members came together to create Kyoto Drive. The four piece Pop/Rock act joined forces early in 2008 and have been playing the length and breadth of the UK ever since. After their formation they recorded and produced a 4 track EP entitled Spotlights & Stars which they released as a free download with promotional help from emo label Engineer Records.
