Your Sweet Uncertainty was originally formed in October of 2004. At that time, this band was just a side project. It was a healthy use for us to get away. While The Early November was repeatedly touring and Finding Westerly was undergoing constant member changes.. it felt necessary to do something that would give us some sort of peace to take away all of that stress. The band was just something we could do to have fun. No strings attached, no worries, no pressure. We wrote a handful of songs. three of which we recorded. We played only one show and that was about it.
In February of 2007 we decided to start a new project. A band which we came to name Grace Period. The band was formed shortly after The Early November break-up talks began to get serious. Over time, this became a band that we would all make our main priority. Within a months time, we wrote another handful of songs which we eventually recorded in May of 2007 with producer / engineer Chris Badami.
In October of 2007, we were forced to change our band name due to the fact that "The Grace Period" was already a band and had been registered with the library of congress. With a record that would be scheduled for release in less than two months, we had to quickly come together to decide on a band name so all would go as scheduled. We eventually went back to something that we felt had been left unfinished.
In October of 2007 the band was renamed Your Sweet Uncertainty.

05:03 PM on 01/21/08 | when will there be an ap.net review for this album? i'm interested to read an admin's thoughts on this self-titled effort.
if feel like it is very good, i got it the week it came out and listened to it continuously for a while.
some of these comments refer to this album as "forgettable", it has been a while since i gave it a spin, but for some reason, out of complete randomness, i started singing "WE DON'T NEED TO TEAR DOWN THE WALLLLLSSSSS"
its got staying power | | |

I am one of those people who just genuinely love music --all kinds of music. I'm sorry that you guys get a load of crap from other people who say they love music, but are really just poor critics and pick your music apart.

hmmm
I still like this song. I was singing it last night as a matter of fact, so obviously I didn't forget what it sounded like. Maybe these guys need to take some ginko biloba to improve their memories.
