The Billboard KeezyKabeezy doesn't have a bio because he's literally not even a band yet. So I'm going to go ahead and write this for him, and I'm going to assume he won't mind. - Thomas Nassiff
KeezyKabeezy's real name is Kyle. He was discovered by a member of the AbsolutePunk.net staff on YouTube in 2011, when he put up a cover of Blink-182's "Up All Night." The premise of the cover was to play the song as if Blink had written it a decade earlier, when they played summer-tinged pop-punk tunes instead of whatever they play now. AbsolutePunk did an exclusive with KeezyKabeezy where we gave the song away for free download, and now that "Up All Night" cover has a few hundred thousand views on YouTube.
Kyle also writes and records original songs, all at home. Like he did with the Blink cover, he writes each instrument and then records it all in a home studio, which he shows to his YouTube subscribers in a separate video. It's pretty cool. Well, now KeezyKabeezy is in the midst of writing and recording some demos which will supposedly lead to an EP or LP later in 2012. We will see about that. He plays the exact type of pop-punk Blink-182 played in their Enema of the State era, with almost uncanny resemblances to the vocal stylings of one Mark Hoppus. He's decent at singing and playing instruments – really, just decent, he's not really that great –*but the songs he writes are fun to listen to and well worth three minutes of your time if you're into upbeat, easily accessible pop-punk music.
