When long time friends pursue a creative goal, the end results are always unexpected. Highly conceptual and theme oriented, Me As Time uses its foundation of electronica and rock to continuously build upon their powerful, yet melodic sound. Formed officially in 2008, Me As Time's first EP, "Movements," is a soundscape of ambient electronics, delayed guitar leads, and driving rhythms combined with the introspective theme of loss and the many stages to acceptance. The EP was the band’s first experience working with Mike Poorman. The first single, "Opaque," was released on National Radio, Satellite Radio, earned them a spot on AP.Net's top 100 bands to know of 2008, and resulted in a performance on Fox News, and the front page of iTunes. The band spent some time writing before recording their next single, "I Am Machinery," a darker, and more mature sound for them. In 2009, the band is looking forward to expand on what they tapped into with "I Am Machinery" and more.
