Im The Desperate & Your The Savior So I went to a local Christian Book Store and was looking thru the cd's and noticed that the New Ivoryline album was out...and for a moment I second guessed myself..."did it come out today?". But upon further review they put it out a week early by accident!! So I got my copy already and it is an amazing record! | | |

i made this profile pretty much only to say that right now, There Came a Lion is one of my favorite albums. the songs are beautiful- really catchy, and honestly pretty. I like bands that have occasional glimpses of real beauty in their music (rather than just playing for the genre- they don't attempt to be metalcore or whatever you would count them as. they just try to be good.)
The lyrics are very well-written and expressive. I give them credit for that. I also have seen some of their live shows and they far outshine a lot of other bands of the same genre. I really hate it when bands are only able to sound good on cd's.
and to top it all off, if your a Christian, the songs are really able to admit to faith more than many other tooth and nail groups. | | |
