A Dead Giveaway

A Dead Giveaway was formed in 2003 in San Diego by lead singer and guitarist, Sean Witkin. Soon after, Alex Lopez (bass), Gregg Luskin (lead guitar), and Keoki Lanza (drums) came on board and completed their first album, Now Is Nothing, in 2004. After the release of the album, they began to play bigger shows, most notably on the acoustic stage on the Taste of Chaos Tour. Soon after recording the EP "Ambitions" in 2005, Keoki had to leave the band to move to Portland. Their search for a new drummer ended quickly when the band found Loniel Robinson who is the current drummer. In January 2006, they began writing new material and filmed a music video for a song off the upcoming album scheduled to be released around summer 2006.
