The Offseason is a pop punk band from Boston, Mass. Longtime friends Ian Bergeson (vocals/guitrar), Joe Broderick (bass) Mike Wolfenden (guitar) and Craig Bray (drums), set out to create catchy and rythmic songs that were deeply rooted in their late-90's punk influences, like Lagwagon, NOFX, New Found Glory, and Alkaline Trio. Enlisting the help of producer Mike Poorman (Tower and the Fool, Hot Rod Circuit), they recorded their first EP "Goin' For Broke" and began to play shows under the moniker The Offseason, releasing the EP as a free download in late 2010. After a year of playing all over New England, and eager to release more music, with the help of Barrett Records and producer Jay Maas (Defeater) The Offseason were able to release their first full length "Pride and Progress" in October 2011. Over the past year they have played with national touring bands such as Transit, Man Overboard, With the Punches, We Are the Union, and I Am the Avalanche. In late 2012, The Offseason returned to the studio with Jay Maas at the helm to record their next EP "Pastimes" and it is one of the best speed-filled, technical, melodic, fun pop-punk records around!
