[FONT='Arial','sans-serif']If you are an unsigned band and would like to stand a chance of winning Airwalk’s Unsigned Hero 2009 contest, nominate your band at www.airwalk.com/ush. The winning band will play the SPIN & MusicGorilla.com showcases during the South by Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas in March 2010. Nominate yourselves by June 30th and if you are one of the ten bands selected to advance to the Voting Phase get everyone you know to vote for you and you could be Airwalk’s Unsigned Hero.[/font]
[FONT='Arial','sans-serif']Along with an all-expense paid trip to play during the South by Southwest music festival, the winning band will also be awarded $5,000 in spending cash as well as an Airwalk gear package. First place isnt the only chance to score some cash however, as second and third placed bands will also receive cash prizes and Airwalk packages. Cobraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!! There is a new site called http://www.synchronicitylive.com that you should check out. They stream music related events live on their site and if you have a band, you can play live on there. They stream in over 100countries and all 50 states. | | |
