With the May 2011 release of their second album, Take One For The Team, Sydney pop punkers Heroes For Hire have made good on their promise to take over the airwaves.
Forever on tour in their trusty van, be it festivals with Paramore and Parkway Drive, arena tours with Short Stack and Boys Like Girls or sweaty clubs with Fireworks and The Wonder Years, the release of Take One For The Team has been spearheaded by lead single “All Messed Up,” a track which has now become a commercial radio staple throughout Australia, with the accompanying video receiving play from Channel V and Video Hits.
The album’s second single, anthem in the making “Secrets, Lies And Sins” has recently impacted commercial radio right across Australia, with the accompanying film clip premiering through Channel V!
Take One For The Team was recorded in Baltimore, USA with esteemed producer Paul Leavitt ‐ who had previously worked with All Time Low, Senses Fail and many more –with the album picking up rave reviews from all corners of the Australian media.
“With Patrick Stump focusing on a solo career, we’ve all been hopelessly trying to fill the void that Fall Out Boy left in our collections. Enter Heroes For Hire...”
