Onset of Effect, from Calabasas, CA, has garnered an incredible amount of success in a relatively short amount of time. Fresh out of high school, the band has sold out shows at The Whiskey, played at The Troubadour and The Knitting Factory.

After opening for Strung Out, Onset of Effect has toured with The Mean Reds and played several dates on the 2005 Warped Tour. In addition, the band has been a featured artist on Downloadpunk.com and Interpunk.com. They were the only non-mainstage band to be included in the AOL Warped Tour Radio broadcast and have been interviewed for Calabasas Magazine and KLAQ 95.5FM (El Paso).

With their debut album, Plane Down, now available, the band plans for a nationwide tour before heading back into the studio for the next release.
They are a small band making a name for themselves in a large, unforgiving scene.
