North of The City are streaming their new single called "Make Me Sick" on their purevolume. If you...
There’s nothing more perfect than an honest, catchy rock song written with heart and soul. With this in mind, the members of North of the City are ready to move you - whether it’s to the ground or to the nearest party. “Our goal is to replicate how our favorite music makes us feel and pass it on to our fans” says frontman Chris Visconti.
From a small Pennsylvania town, North of the City is also made of Nick Visconti (Bass), Ace Hendrix (Drums) and Dylan Gearhart (Lead Guitar), and their eclectic musical backgrounds help shape what you hear today - catchy choruses, soulful guitar work, and pulse driving drumming.
It takes guidance for a group of young musicians to grow, and performing along side the likes of Fall Out Boy, Bayside, Cobra Starship, Hawthorne Heights, The Academy Is..., and even Sean Kingston definitely puts this group in the right direction. With that in mind, the boys teamed up with producer Rob Freeman (formerly of Drive-Thru’s beloved Hidden In Plain View) to help make their new, self-titled EP as brilliant as Freeman’s work for Hit the Lights and Cobra Starship.
“Even though it’s a short EP, it’s still very honest and close to us. Each of these songs are chapters of our lives and our friend’s lives. I hope it can relate to our fan’s lives too” says Chris. Expect to see the brand-new single "Make Me Sick” on iTunes and other various internet outlets, and expect to see North of the City in your town very soon!
