It really means a lot, I love writing and in the coming weeks, I'll have reviews for don the reader, confide, and energy. so now that that is out of the way I want to talk about heavy music. As I was making my top ten list for he year, which is not finished, I was realizing that most of the bands I have on their are softer bands. At the top there is death cab for cutie's new cd and copeland's new cd along with my epic, sigur ros, the cool kids, and others. But I realized that the only heavy cd that came out this year that really truely impressed me was underoath's. That was a really good record, I didn't expect it to be as good as it is. But that is about it. Then, I realized that not a lot of heavy bands I like put out albums his year. Which kind of made me sad. My first thought is "am I mellowing out? Am I listenig to the elected all the time and whn I listen to beloved, just think about how awesome the old days were?" I started to ge scared for the hardcoe scene and really sad and depressed over whether or not it was over for me and the scene I fell in love with. But as 2009 approached, I looked at the calendar. I found that SOOOOO many heavy records are coming out! and this made me quite the happy one. A plea for purging, converge, poison the well, the chariot, impending doom, oh sleeper! what a year it will be. AND mewithoutyou is coming out with a new record, which, while they arent that heavy, I still kind of have an orgasm at the thought of a new record from them. 2009, the year hardcore takes my heart back
