I sort of love everything to the point where I start to annoy myself with my own happiness. And school is great, I'm super proud of my work this semester, and just generally I've been going to more shows, being more social, etc. THINGS ARE GOOD. School's pretty crazy, I'm working with a couple local bands this month, and I'm in the process of illustrating a zine (that will be hand printed and super limited edition and COOL, but more on that at a later date...) So yeah, I've been crazy busy. Anyway, I just thought I'd drop in and post a photo of this mural that I'm working on. It's the entrance to my apartment. I got a bunch of my friends to come paint random shit on it. We just started today and it's not even close to finished yet, but yeah. I figured some of you might enjoy it. I don't know. I'm not particularly good at drawing realistic things. This summer I decided to challenge myself, though. I decided to create a short series of 5 paintings inspired by the lyric "Growing up means watching my heroes turn human in front of me." So basically five canvasses, five portraits of my "heroes".
