I was pleasantly surprised with both of them. [/B][/I] [B]A LOSS FOR WORDS[/B] - [I]No Sanctuary [/I] I had previously heard of AL4W through the internet-sphere although I never truly listened to them. But it wasn't until I was walking around Warped Tour (2012) that I heard something I liked and I couldn't understand why it felt so familiar and good? I later realized it was A Loss for Words tearin' up the Tillys stage and from that moment on I was hooked. I got the [I]No Sanctuary[/I] album and haven't looked back. I even picked up their Motown covers album, which was done quite well with some Boston soul. This is easily my album of the summer. Love this whole album! A LOSS FOR WORDS - No Sanctuary

I had previously heard of AL4W through the internet-sphere although I never truly listened to them. MEMPHIS MAY FIRE - Challenger

I was always a fan of MMF from when they released Sleepwalking, I have iTunes to thank for introducing them to me (Genius saw Mayday Parade in my library and recommended them to me) however I never really gave them much thought after they first entered my ipod. It wasn't til all the press they were getting for Challenger that I remembered how much I liked them. After watching Matty own the stage at Warped Tour I decided to pick up Challenger when it came out and all I can say is WOW. I really like the lyrical content on this record and the mash up of clean vocals and screams make me one happy listener. During the first week of release the album #2 on the rock charts on iTunes (as of 6/29).

However for me music is something else entirely, on a whole different level. Music just gets me, period. No matter what mood I am in music just connects with me and makes me feel how I want to feel in that moment. I don't just listen to the song, I listen to the lyrics, the melodies, the sounds of the sticks hitting the hi-hat or tom. The sounds of the guitar riff, where the guitarist switches between chords, and of course the vocals. With music I overanalyze and dissect each part. LYRICS: I love lyrics especially because it's someone being vulnerable and sometimes subliminal. I love words and poetry so when they are applied to music I am in heaven. MELODIES: This is what usually gets me hooked, especially if it's a catchy melody that will make me want to listen to the song 11,000 more times on repeat. Not so much in a depressing manner but these albums just fit my mood as of late. •[B]Go Radio [/B]- [I]Lucky Street[/I] •[B]Valencia[/B] - [I]We All Need Reason To Believe[/I] •[B]Isles and Glaciers [/B]- [I]The Hearts of Lonely People[/I] For me these albums just hit me at the right moment, whether it be driving home, singing in the shower, at work designing, or just chilling out with the iHome on shuffle. Go Radio - Lucky Street

Jason's lyrics are so damn honest and real. He writes what people feel and sings it with so much heart and soul. His lyrics can get me through anything, period. The musicality of the album is pretty air tight, Steven, Alex, and Burns did an excellent job on the debut.

Valencia - We All Need Reason To Believe

I don't hate a single song on this album. This album should have made the band HUGE. By far my favorite from them. Damn this album just is flawless start to finish IN MY OPINION.

Isles and Glaciers - The Hearts of Lonely People

If there were a super hero group in this "scene" it'd be compiled of this roster. I mean, the vocals alone are gold. All they need to add is Tyler Carter on the next album (unlikely to have another album but still a girl can dream...) and they are set for vocal domination.
