First youtube video to literally make me LOL in a while. Isn't it so fun to watch others get injured? The more you rewind the funnier it gets...

Bands, TV, Comedy, and Stuffs

If anyone was curious, these were the bands I blurbed about in the Absolute 100:

Brobecks
Harvard
Alvin Band
The Static Jacks
Brighter Shades
The New Regime
The Sound Archives
Hotel of the Laughing Tree

I think they were pretty popular choices, so that makes me endlessly happy.

Speaking of which, anybody think this is Unsigned Showcase worthy? http://www.myspace.com/arden
Can't decide.

Anybody watch Flash Forward last night? It was intriguing enough for a LOST fan, and if you're willing to invest the energy in following it, I think it could be a fun ride.

Still have to watch Heroes and Glee from this week. I'm so glad Glee is rapidly gaining fans - with so many nods to broadway and its stars, I can't help but root for it 100%. Heroes on the other hand - I'm not expecting much but I feel.... obligated?

Oh, I also though Parks and Recreation was hilarious last night. Should I be watching this show? Aziz Ansari is a riot as always.

And now some comedy:

Twitter/Greasemonkey Fans

If you use Twitter and Firefox, GET the Greasemonkey add-on, and then install this script.

It makes Twitter a thousand times better. You can actually understand what people are talking about in conversations, you can "retweet" with one click - and you can see all the media that gets posted without shuffling around the net. HUGE help.

Also, this one revolutionizes Facebook.

And if you use Google Calendar there's a few cool scripts. Colorize your weekends and more. No links though, sorry.

Greasemonkey rocks... hard

My summer fun album also speaks to me lyrically? Who woulda thunk?

"So I left, That is it. That’s my life, Nothing is sacred.
I don’t keep friends, I keep acquainted,
I’m not a prophet, But I’m here to profit.

That’s all, I’m gone! That’s my life, Nothing is sacred.
I don’t fall in love, I just fake it.
I don’t fall in love. I don’t fall in love."

REC! The Brobecks

The Brobecks - Violent Things

They've got inklings of Muse and The Dear Hunter (thanks to Casey Crescenzo production), mixed in with the sensitivity of a drama-queen high-school kid. But the melodies are stellar, and extremely easy to love with the drab, moody, amazing vocals delivering them. Why are they unsigned, this is a $$ maker
