Westland is an alternative pop rock band from Boston, MA. Since forming in 2009, the band has sold over 20,000 copies of their debut album "Don't Take It Personal". Their newest release, an EP entitled "Demos, B-Sides, and Lullabies, Oh My!" will be out December 13th.
Regarding the new release, Westland's singer, Aaron Bonus, stated "we wanted to give our fans something new to listen to while we are working on a new full length album. We have been extremely blessed to have the type of die hard fans we have, so we thought two years was long enough for them to wait for something new. Some tracks are unused songs we are proud of and some tracks are just fun songs we never released that were in my vault that I wanted to share with our fans". Align in Time is the solo project of composer and guitarist John Russell Boles. His debut release, Me & My Arrow, was written over the course of six years before being recorded during the summer of 2011 with producer Bryan Russell (The Academy Is..., Envy on the Coast, Straylight Run), additional tracking by Mike Poorman (The Receiving End of Sirens, Therefore I Am, drummer of Hot Rod Circuit) and mastering by Mike Kalajian (Moving Mountains, Ace Enders). The album is an amalgam of styles and moods, equal parts rock anthem and film score. It is the story of an individual experience, instantly accessible to listeners across genre boundaries and distinctions. Based out of Washington, DC, Boles is currently preparing to take the music on the road in 2012. |
