The moment I live for is when I push play on a new album, there's a brief pause, a slight click of static ... and the music starts. The wash of sound rips around the room and in flashes I'm reminded of what makes music so special. The feelings it evokes, the emotions it pulls forth, and the ability to divert and demand attention to every detail. It's that feeling that powers me each day.
The new Hot Water Music album is an absolute beast of a record.
Front to back it's pure rock-n-roll. Chuck and Chris sound as good as they ever have, the production is brilliant, and I'd argue the songs are as good as the band's ever written.
